Lived Off and On-Grid in Central and Southern California since 1993.

Went completely off-grid in 1997 in home to the right, switched back on the grid a year later after determining on-grid solar is much cleaner (no over building the PV system, less or no batteries, no back up generator use).

Grid-tie PV has a pay back in under 10 years when used to cover 50-80% of building electricity needs.
