Converted a 1985 Honda 700 Interceptor to DC motor electric vehicle.

  • Battery pack: 11 EnerSys Genesis 26Ah batteries in series (3.4kWh)
  • Motor: Advanced DC K91
  • Charger: Elcon
  • Controller: 700A Sykromotive
  • Display: Cycle Analyst

Bike was fun to ride, but severely limited in range with the lead acid batteries. Lead acid batteries suffer greatly with reduced capacity at high discharge rates, lithium batteries retain much more energy at high discharge rates.
